The first step takes you the whole way. I had a severe lack of motivation again today. But I did it anyway. I find solace in the fact that others feel the same way as me. I know they do, because I read about it every day, and they run anyway, every time.
On to the run today. I set my goal at 8 miles. I then proceeded to exceed my expectations, by running 8.05. It's not far, but far enough for me to say that I ran farther than I meant to. I get tired of running in a circle though, I'd need to start looking for a new place to run.


  1. Run a figure eight around two fields? That way you get a left and a right.
